Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our thriving primary school. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessing a class of students, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.

We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers, who will receive exceptional support through our extensive induction and mentoring programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with a knowledge-led curriculum
• Inspire and motivate children through innovative and creative learning approaches
• Set high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect and curiosity
• Collaborate within a year group team, sharing ideas, planning and best practices
• Embrace and uphold the school’s ethos, vision and values

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience (or ECT placement experience) within an educational setting
• Ability to plan, teach, and assess effectively
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Willingness to undertake induction training and further qualifications as required
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education
