We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of History to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the History curriculum for all pupils.
- Create a motivating learning environment with well-organised resources.
- Maintain detailed records and liaise with the Headmistress regularly.
- Identify and support pupils with additional needs or those who require extension activities.
- Promote History through extra-curricular activities like book fairs and World Book Day events.
- Manage the department’s budget and use IT for lesson preparation and reporting.

- Has high professional standards and a commitment to excellent teaching.
- Builds positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
- Plans and delivers engaging, innovative lessons.
General Responsibilities:

- Write academic reports and monitor pupils’ progress.
- Attend staff meetings and undertake supervisory duties.
- Comply with health and safety standards.
