Job Description

Grade: MPS 1-6/UP1 London Fringe (TRL 3 £2000)

Main Purpose

Lead and manage EYFS across Nursery & Reception
Ensure high standards of learning and achievement
Safeguard and promote pupil wellbeing
Work with parents, staff, and external partners
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning

Resources & Environment

Create a safe, welcoming classroom
Audit indoor/outdoor spaces for quality
Use diverse, inclusive, accessible resources
Oversee stimulating displays across EYFS
Manage budget effectively for impactful resources

Staff Leadership

Hold regular EYFS team meetings
Support staff with planning and resources
Monitor and give feedback on teaching
Lead staff induction and CPD
Support accurate assessment & moderation
Promote staff wellbeing

Curriculum

Develop and review EYFS vision and aims
Ensure curriculum is diverse, inclusive & well-sequenced
Track pupil progress against ELGs
Oversee high standards of teaching and outcomes

Strategic Direction

Implement policies that promote high-quality teaching
Feed into school development and action plans
Promote SMSC and British values
Work with SENCO & subject leaders to meet all needs
Share best EYFS practice across the school
