Job Description

Salary: £30,000 to £42,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Location: Easily accessible via public transport for those without a car

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage safeguarding cases and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Provide training and workshops on safeguarding for staff, students, and parents.
  • Update and enforce safeguarding policies.
  • Liaise with external agencies and attend multi-agency meetings.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure timely reporting of concerns.

Qualifications & Relevant Experience:

  1. Safeguarding Expertise: Extensive experience in safeguarding or child protection roles.
  2. Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with safeguarding laws and best practices.
  3. Certification: Relevant qualifications, e.g., Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
  4. Communication Skills: Strong ability to liaise with students, parents, and agencies.
  5. Confidentiality: Proven ability to manage sensitive information and conduct risk assessments.
