Job Description

We are currently seeking a number of passionate and dedicated Art and Photography Teachers

Salary: £27,000 to £40,000 (depending on qualifications and experience

Location: Easily accessible via public transport for those without a car

As a Art and Photography Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality art and photography lessons that align with the national curriculum.
• Inspiring students to explore various art forms, techniques, and photography styles.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creative expression and experimentation.
• Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the art and photography curriculum and extracurricular activities.
• Preparing students for exhibitions and showcasing their artistic and photographic talents.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Art and Photography.
• A strong understanding of the art and photography curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Passion for art and photography and the ability to inspire and engage students in meaningful creative projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Strong classroom management skills, creating an environment conducive to artistic and photographic exploration.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in art and photography education.
