Urdu/Punjabi Interpreter, Portsmouth

We are looking for skilled Urdu/Punjabi interpreter in Portsmouth.

The role will involve providing excellent interpreting services and support to clients in Portsmouth.

To be considered for this role you:

• Must be living in Portsmouth or close by.
• Must be fluent in Urdu/Punjabi ( native or bilingual proficiency), in addition to good English
• Must have a professional manner and be reliable with good time management skills
• Be flexible and available to work on a freelance basis.

Experience of interpreting within healthcare settings, or other hospital, healthcare or clinical related experience would be a big advantage but is not essential.

Person Specification and Behaviour

• Previous interpreting experience preferred
• Experience in interpreting within healthcare settings is highly advantageous
• To be considered for this role, you must be eligible to work in the UK.
• You will live in Portsmouth, the surrounding area, or within an easy commute.
• You must have a professional attitude and be reliable

Other Information

• Full, clean driving license – Essential
• You must live in Portsmouth or have the ability to easily commute.
• Need to have Right to Work in the UK

£12/hour – £20/hour
