[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is supporting a fast-scaling fintech, backed by top-tier investors, to hire a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. They are building innovative solutions in payments, open banking, and financial automation.

They’re looking for engineers who thrive in high-growth, product-focused environments. If you have experience working in a YC-backed or VC-backed engineering team (or a similarly high-growth scale-up), this role could be a great fit. A background in fintech, open banking, or payments would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership across the full product lifecycle – from idea to build, launch, and iteration.
• Design and build performant, user-friendly web interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-impact projects.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, processes, and engineering standards.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Tech Stack

Typescript, React, NextJS, NodeJS, Express, PostgreSQL.

Requirements

• Experience in a YC-backed, VC-backed, or high-growth engineering team delivering customer-facing products.
• Strong understanding of both frontend and backend web development.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business teams.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, early-stage environments with high levels of ownership and ambiguity.
