They’re looking for someone who loves building systems from the ground up and enjoys solving complex problems with clean code. If you’re confident in Python, like working closely with traders and researchers, and want to be hands-on with live trading infrastructure, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Core Trading Engine: Building, improving, and maintaining the trading engine at the heart of the team’s operations. - Trade Automation: Creating systematic tools and automations to improve how trades are executed and managed. - Team Collaboration: Working directly with traders, researchers, and fellow engineers to turn ideas into high-performance tools. - Code Quality: Taking part in code reviews and helping shape best practices. - Ongoing Support: Helping troubleshoot and improve existing systems as they evolve.
What They’re Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or something similar. - Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with tools like pandas, polars, numpy, or duckdb. - Solid understanding of statistics or quantitative methods – no need to be a quant guru, but you should know your way around data. - Experience building robust, scalable systems as performance matters. - Some exposure to trading systems or financial markets is helpful, but not essential. - Sharp problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership. - A team mindset, they want people who work well with others and care about delivering quality.
This is a high-impact role in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. The team is serious about tech, and they’re looking for someone who shares that same mindset – curious, driven, and always improving.
