FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Hospital Hayes Grove is looking to recruit a CBT Therapist/Integrative Psychotherapist to join the team. The full-time salary for this role is £39,140 – £45,320 (depending on experience) This part-time position is for 22.5 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary of £23,484 – £27,192 per year. Due to the demand for appointment times outside of school hours, we are ideally looking for the successful candidate to be available to work from 10:00am-6:00pm or 11:00am-7:00pm three days per week.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • Deliver evidence-based CBT and integrative therapeutic interventions to adults and young people, including comprehensive assessments, clinical formulations, and clear treatment recommendations and plans.
  • Provide outpatient therapy both in-person and online, while maintaining high standards of safeguarding, risk assessment, and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, GPs, schools, and other relevant professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care across services.
  • Contribute to the development of the clinical team by sharing skills and learning within CPD meetings and engaging in regular supervision.
  • Support the future development of the service by helping to deliver outpatient group therapy for children, young people, and their parents/carers.

What you'll bring to the role

Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No three days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows. We are seeking a highly motivated, fully qualified, and accredited psychotherapist to join our growing CAMHS outpatient therapy team on a permanent, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 7–17, and committed to delivering high-quality, effective therapeutic interventions. Applicants should hold a relevant therapy qualification (minimum Level 5 Diploma), full professional registration and accreditation with BABCP, BACP, or UKCP, and have at least three years’ post-qualification experience working with children and young people presenting with a range of mental health issues in a similar setting. We are particularly interested in practitioners who can integrate elements of multiple therapeutic modalities—at minimum person-centred, cognitive behavioural, and dialectical behavioural approaches—and who can provide both short-term, goal-focused therapy as well as longer-term work where required. Strong skills in assessment, formulation, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary liaison are essential, along with the ability to adapt to and contribute to the evolving needs and development of our service.
