[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking to recruit a Sessional CAMHS/ CBT Therapist to join our dedicated team.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' well-being. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a CAMHS Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • Report directly to the Outpatient Therapy Lead and manage a caseload of patients and couples.
  • Schedule appointments, provide therapeutic interventions, and deliver feedback based on assessments and agreed treatment plans.
  • Maintain clinical records to the highest standards, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all documentation.
  • Adhere strictly to incident reporting and safeguarding protocols, which are critical within CAMHS services
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience of safeguarding and clinical governance to succeed in this role.

What you'll bring to the role

Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.   We are currently recruiting for a CAMHS Therapist to join our outpatient team and provide therapeutic care to our patients in line with Priory Group policy. We are particularly keen to hear from CBT therapists but will consider other modalities. The successful candidate will be an accredited member of the BACP or UKCP and have at least 5 years' experience of working with young people aged 12 to 20.

Candidates will have a recognised qualification in CBT theory and practice and have BABCP or BACP membership and accreditation.  Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team in acute mental health services is desirable.
