[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Lakeside View is looking to recruit a Bank Nurse - RMN/RNLD to join the team [Employer hidden]’s acute and PICU services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas.

[Employer hidden] Lakeside View in Willenhall, West Midlands, supports 30 adults with acute mental health needs within a safe, therapeutic environment. We have two male wards in the main building, and a female ward in a separate building. From the point of admission into our acute services, we aim to support people to safely discharge back into the community, where they can continue to progress towards recovery in a less restrictive environment.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

  • Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team
  • Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings and attend other meetings as requested
  • Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonable practicable a safe environment.
  • Maintain a continued level of personal professional development in accordance to preceptorship and revalidation.

What you'll bring to the role

Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6–12 months’ post-registration experience, active NMC Registration, and completion of a preceptorship programme. Possesses sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices, with evidence of ongoing post-registration continuing professional development. Demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong commitment to change, improvement, and quality, alongside the ability to develop and apply flexible, innovative approaches to practice. Holds excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a minimum of six months’ experience in Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care, supported by relevant professional development.
