About The Position

[Employer hidden] are looking for an Operations Manager on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for a group of companies that provides essential support services, including HR, Accounts, Facilities, and Marketing, to all businesses within their group.

The role sits within a fast paced, friendly team, who are central to everything that happens within this group of companies. No two days are the same, so being a clear communicator and well organised are pivotal to this role.

Role Responsibilities

  • Managing the building and its facilities to ensure maintenance is upheld and cost efficiency is achieved for the occupants
  • Managing the grounds maintenance of a local secondary site to ensure maintenance is upheld and cost efficiency is achieved for the occupants
  • Managing the H&S and fire safety to ensure the building and its occupants are adequately protected
  • Organisation of insurance policies to ensure sufficient coverage for all occupants
  • Overseeing the procurement of sundries, stationery, furniture and adhoc assets as required
  • Overseeing the security of the building including lock up/unlock coverage
  • Reconciliation of regular invoicing for authorisation
  • People management of an efficient team of individuals
  • Credit card management including end of month invoice reconciliation
  • Additional tasks may be required on occasion
