Nights Warehouse Operative (Ugbrooke)

Location: Ugbrooke Business Park, Kingsteignton, Devon TQ123GP

Salary: £competitive rate of pay

Job Type: Permanent

Schedule: Sunday - Saturday morning with one night off during the week on a rotational basis. Nights 5 shifts per week. Shift patterns range from 8pm - 4am and 10pm - 6am , with the possibility of finishing earlier if the shift tasks are completed

  • Accurately making sure the orders are picked correctly including - picking chilled, frozen and ambient goods for customers orders
  • Loading vehicles safely and systematically, ensuring product integrity
  • Shunting vans in the yard to ensure the correct vehicles are in the right place at the right time
  • Moving stock around the warehouse using pump trucks, PPTs and forklifts (training provided)
  • Keeping workspaces clean tidy and safe at all times.

You will be required to work at height and in cold environments, relevant PPE will be issued.

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a candidate with a solid work ethic.

  • Physically fit an happy to be on the move throughout your shift.
  • Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments (appropriate PPE is provided).
  • Attention to detail - you know the small things make a big difference to our customers.
  • Previous warehouse or night shift experience is helpful but not essential - full training is provided.
