Job Title: Restaurant Chef

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Restaurant Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori, biryanis, and snacks. You will work closely with the head chef to manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff training, and ensuring food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and taste
• Collaborate with the head chef to develop new dishes and menu items
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff training, and ensuring food safety and hygiene
• Monitor food stocks and ordering supplies as necessary
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, including equipment cleaning, food preparation, and waste disposal
• Handle customer orders and requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior kitchen staff

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Indian Restaurant Chef, with expertise in preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes
• In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and ingredients
• Strong culinary skills, with the ability to create innovative and creative dishes
• Ability to manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff training, and food safety and hygiene
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments and tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation

Education and Certifications:

• Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent
• Food Safety and Hygiene certification
