Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify problems and determine the best course of action.
  • Use computerized diagnostic equipment to retrieve vehicle data and interpret error codes.
  • Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and time required for each job.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry advancements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or similar role.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and functions.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to customers.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or formal training in automotive technology.
  • Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
