CCTV Operator - Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Profile CCTV Operator to provide top-tier services at our client’s prestigious sites. Location: London, UK
Salary: £13.00 / Per Hour
Venue type: Corporate
Full-time / Part time Employment
THE CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO WORK BETWEEN SITES SITUATED IN WITHIN LONDON.
Shift pattern: Days, Nights, Weekends and Weekdays 12-hour shifts
Duties and Responsibilities
- To maintain personal standards of appearance whilst on shift and to ensure your dress is always in good order as outlined in the site Assignment Instructions.
- To monitor and patrol via view-screens effectively and to take any remedial or immediate action and notification as appropriate to events seen or informed about.
- Send daily reports to the client.
- To record all events and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate format.
- Record these in a computerized format and any other media required.
- To maintain personal integrity and confidentiality of all information obtained within the CCTV Control Room, always, whether written, verbal, or by any other means.
- To ensure all equipment is functioning correctly, carry out equipment checks as required, and inform immediately all required personnel of faults found.
- Report all faults in accordance with the client’s CCTV Operating Procedural Manual.
- To ensure security and cleanliness of the CCTV Control Room and ensure equipment is always maintained satisfactorily.
- Ensure access procedures are followed in accordance with the Assignment Instruction and Operation Procedure Manual.
- To always communicate with the clients’ other units and external agencies professionally and courteously.
- To undertake any special operational duties as required or instructed by Enigma management and perform any other tasks or duties which the person is reasonably expected to or instructed to undertake.
- To extract data from digital recorders, copy evidence onto media and complete documentation in accordance with control room procedures.
- Provide witness statements as and when required.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed before any media is removed by Police or any authorised personnel as laid down in the assignment instructions and operating procedure.
- To understand and follow site Assignment Instructions and Operating Procedural Manual as issued by the Client, Enigma and the site CCTV Manager.
- To pay due regard to the company’s Health & Safety Policy. Conduct check calls as required by the site Assignment Instructions.
- To promote a positive view towards the company, the customer, and other staff.
- To report to management, any faults or defects that may prevent you from carrying out your duties efficiently
- To pay due regard to the company’s Equal Opportunity Policy.
- To adhere to all company rules and regulations
- To act as a relief to cover other staff duties during periods of absence, as and when required.
- To carry out other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time by Management.
Skills, qualifications, and experience required for the role
- MUST HOLD A VALID CCTV LICENCE.
- MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE EASILY TO WORK LOCATION
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN ENHANCED VETTING PROCESS
- AT LEAST 1 YEAR CCTV EXPERIENCE
