Special Needs Assistant – West Midlands

**Special Needs Assistant**
**Location:** West Midlands
**Salary:** £ 13 per hour / 48 hour pw (6 x 16 hour shifts every 2 weeks)
**Contract Type:** Full-time

We are now looking for a committed and compassionate **Special Needs Assistant** to join our team and help us continue delivering high-quality, person-centred care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people with special educational needs in both care and education settings
  • Assist with learning activities, personal care, and daily routines
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and care staff to implement tailored support plans
  • Encourage social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all young people

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, autism, or behavioural needs
  • A calm, caring, and patient approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
  • Must be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check
