About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on our construction site. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflows.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and address any delays or issues.
- Maintain quality control and ensure work meets design and specification requirements.
- Liaise with clients, project managers, operatives, and inspectors.
- Oversee site logistics, materials, and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar construction management role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Valid CSCS, SMSTS, or equivalent certification preferred.
