Responsibilities include business development, client management, candidate sourcing, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The role

The purpose of the role is to actively assist in the growth of [Employer hidden]’s sales pipeline by opening doors to new opportunities and increasing our client base, bringing in new business and executing on client assignments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Being a consulted partner with regards best practice to selling, marketing and thought leadership
  • Developing and executing an annual sales plan
  • Proactively gather and activate key contacts, networks and potential business leads to the benefit of the business plan and the company’s overall strategy
  • Attending networking meetings, conferences, and evening events both in the UK and abroad to identify potential business opportunities, maintaining existing relationships and developing new relationships
  • Developing business leads through to sale by effective client management
  • Attending and leading client pitches and briefings
  • Setting the assignment search strategy
  • Implement best practice and assess ways of working to improve productivity/ workflow and profitability whilst maintaining quality delivery
  • Ensure all services and interactions are delivered on time and to the highest quality
  • Deliver best in class client management including: provision of notes, update calls, status reports, staged preparation calls, client interviews, offer management, referencing and post assignment feedback. Responsible for all aspects of client management throughout the assignment lifecycle
  • Writing briefs and job descriptions
  • Researching and sourcing potential candidates from our database and external sources
  • Speaking with potential candidates, explain the role in detail, influence and establish interest, and assess suitability for the role
  • Ensuring effective and authoritative responses to detailed candidate questions
  • Developing positioning maps, target lists, briefing sheets and proposal documents
  • Building, populating and refining search lists
  • Collating and providing the candidate briefing pack to the candidate post [Employer hidden] interview and pre client. Setting up and conducting [Employer hidden] interviews. Briefing and de-briefing candidates for client interview as required
  • Researching companies and gather strategic information including building organisational structure maps
  • Proactively developing relationships with candidates and clients, and identifying business development and candidate opportunities post-assignment
  • Source and present candidates for contingency and interim roles
  • Inputting all relevant information onto the internal database with support from the admin team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong recruitment background and experience in fulfilment of client assignments
  • Business development experience
  • A qualification, ideally at degree level
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Articulate, with the ability to tailor content for a C-suite audience
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with strong planning and organisational skills
  • An ability to work independently to tight deadlines; highly proactive and self-motivated
  • Committed to continual improvement
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with database management
  • Curiosity and passion for the technology, fashion and consumer industries is an advantage
  • A strong drive for self-improvement and the confidence to articulate issues and opportunities
