SPIDER MACHINE OPERATOR – CLASS B DRIVING LICENCE AND TOWING ABILITY
Spider machine operating will need you to be comfortable working at heights as our Spider Machines have a reach of up to 42 metres. Our fleet of Self Propelled Equipment are used in all manner of inside and outside access work. You will need to have the ability to provide excellent customer service at all times and aim to resolve any on site issues whenever possible.

Spider machine operating will need you to be comfortable working at heights as our Spider Machines have a reach of up to 42 metres. Our fleet of Self Propelled Equipment are used in all manner of inside and outside access work. You will need to have the ability to provide excellent customer service at all times and aim to resolve any on-site issues whenever possible. You will be required to complete all relevant on-site information on mobile devices accurately and in a timely manner, and also carry out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness of towing vehicles and operating checks of equipment.
Experience
- Experience as a Spider Operator would be desirable
- Operating plant or powered access equipment would be advantageous
- Working at height
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card useful
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- IPAF 3a&3b would be advantageous although training will be given using our in-house training centre.
