Summary

An Account Manager is sought to manage clients' furniture requirements from initial brief to project handover. The role involves client communication, creating presentations, managing orders, negotiating with suppliers, and meeting sales targets.   • Manage order process from appointment to handover on site
  • Key point of contact for client and other stakeholders throughout the consultative process
  • Create presentations adhering to company design standards
  • Organise samples according to the agreed mock up process
  • Put together product options in line with clients design brief and budget
  • Get pricing from suppliers and negotiate best terms for the project
  • Create quotes that are accurate and follow the agreed process
  • Confidently and independently run a client meeting in their offices or on site
  • Communicate clearly with clients throughout the project
  • Communicate clearly with suppliers to ensure pricing, specification and deadlines are met

As a leading international furniture specialist, our client collaborates with designers, architects, clients and professional teams to deliver projects across sectors including workplace, co-working, build-to-rent, education and hospitality.

With over 25 years of experience as an independent furniture company, they support project teams throughout the entire lifecycle of furniture services, from furniture consultancy and procurement to design, sustainability, logistics and post-project support. With teams across London, Manchester, Glasgow, New York and Paris, our client is entering an exciting new phase of growth and has an opening for a confident and highly organised Account Manager to join its sales team in London.

The Role:

You will be responsible for looking after your clients' furniture requirements, taking complete responsibility for the process from initial brief to project handover. You will support the client through options, decision-making and deadlines to deliver a successful project on time, within the agreed budget and meeting the agreed project KPI's.

The successful candidate will be highly personable and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Experience & Skills
