Summary

O.S. Energy is seeking a Chief Engineer for EU flagged vessels. The role involves leading a diverse team onboard specialized service vessels, primarily in the North and Baltic Seas. Key responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the engine room and maintaining high technical standards. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Certificate of Competence, strong leadership and communication skills, and fluency in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the engine room.
  • Lead a diverse team onboard.
  • Maintain high technical standards.

Core Requirements:

  • A valid Certificate of Competence acc to. STCW [II/2] for service on vessels trading in North- and Baltic seas and high technical understanding in the engine room;
  • Flexibility;
  • A team-oriented, cooperative approach to leading a diverse team onboard;
  • A structured approach to work and good communication skills, both onboard and with the office;
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written, Danish skills preferable;
  • Interpersonal skills and first experiences in working with external personnel onboard;
  • Comfortable use of MS-Office and motivation to use and improve our digital Fleet Management system;
  • European drivers license (Class B)

We are currently looking to employ a Chief Engineer to strengthen our crews onboard

With a fleet of nine specialised service vessels under Danish, German, British and Norwegian flag, family-owned shipping company O.S. Energy successfully offers various specialised services in all Offshore fields such as maintenance and ecological surveys for more than 20 years.
