Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified actuary to join our client’s growing analytics team, focused on the performance of the European Protection business. The role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders, contributing to business planning, financial reporting, and the identification of strategic opportunities.

  • Analyse and explain quarterly financial results (e.g., QBR, IRT)
  • Support business planning with forward-looking insights
  • Liaise with actuarial, finance, operations, and pricing teams to ensure accurate reporting
  • Identify opportunities that deliver added value to the business
  • Build and manage relationships across departments

Key Requirements/Skills: Qualified actuary with 1+ year post-qualification experience. Background in life insurance or reinsurance (UK Protection preferred). Strong grasp of actuarial valuation principles and processes. Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Tyche or similar software beneficial. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines. Adaptable and collaborative, with a proactive mindset.
