Senior Low Code Engineer

We’re partnering with a major international law firm that’s expanding its in-house digital capabilities. They’re looking for an experienced Senior Low Code Engineer to join their Technology Solutions team and play a key role in delivering scalable, serviceable digital solutions across the business – supporting both internal operations and client-facing services.

You’ll be working within a specialist Low Code Engineering function focused on delivering value through Microsoft Power Platform, with opportunities to influence platform strategy, mentor junior team members, and work on high-profile projects that drive innovation in the legal sector.

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Low Code Engineer, your role will be a mix of hands-on development, solution design, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining scalable low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages
  • Creating Model-Driven and Canvas apps, building and managing workflows, and implementing secure, well-structured environments using solution-aware components
  • Using Dataverse security models, solution references, and environment variables to support scalable deployment and governance
  • Customising apps with JavaScript/jQuery, and integrating with third-party REST APIs
  • Supporting the service transition process and ensuring new apps can be supported by internal or third-party teams
  • Providing documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring for junior developers
  • Contributing to the firm’s low-code strategy, including experimentation with new platforms, AI tools (e.g. CoPilot Studio), and process automation opportunities
  • Representing the team internally and externally – including involvement in industry and innovation events

🧰 Tech Stack & Skills

You’ll be expected to bring deep expertise in Power Platform and supporting tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in most of the following:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Development experience with Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas), Power Automate, and Dataverse
  • Building solutions using Power Pages
  • Understanding of Dataverse role-based security, solution layering, connection references, and environment variables
  • Use of JavaScript/jQuery in app customisation
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs and integrating external data sources
  • Strong grasp of relational database concepts, data modelling and logic
  • Hands-on use of Office 365 tools (especially SharePoint Online, Teams)
  • Familiarity with tools such as XRMToolBox and version control processes

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Power BI / Microsoft Fabric
  • Styling and UI enhancements using CSS
  • Development of Dataverse plugins and custom connectors
  • Exposure to CoPilot Studio and Generative AI use cases
  • Previous work in legal, professional services, or highly regulated sectors
