Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join a fast-paced consulting team supporting major initiatives across the Capital Markets sector. This role involves delivering large-scale change programmes focused on digital transformation, regulatory compliance, risk and controls enhancement, and end-to-end technology delivery.
Key Responsibilities/Duties: - Lead multi-disciplinary teams on strategic projects in capital markets operations - Translate complex business challenges into practical solutions, operating models, and implementation plans - Oversee initiatives across: Cost optimisation and simplification, Digital and process transformation, Technology enablement and automation, Regulatory gap analysis, impact assessments, and implementation, Risk transformation and control enhancement - Manage the full project lifecycle and guide junior team members - Contribute to internal development and business growth initiatives
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: - Significant experience in Capital Markets operations (e.g., Client Onboarding, Reconciliations, Settlements, Collateral, or Front Office support) - Prior consulting or internal change experience within a major financial institution - Strong knowledge of the project delivery life-cycle and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) - Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams or small teams on high-profile initiatives - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to senior governance forums

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join a fast-paced consulting team supporting major initiatives across the Capital Markets sector. This role involves delivering large-scale change programmes focused on digital transformation, regulatory compliance, risk and controls enhancement, and end-to-end technology delivery.
You’ll play a key leadership role on complex engagements for top-tier financial institutions, leveraging proven methodologies and innovative tools. You will also work closely with stakeholders across functions and levels, helping shape and execute high-impact strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams on strategic projects in capital markets operations - Translate complex business challenges into practical solutions, operating models, and implementation plans - Oversee initiatives across:

Who You Are:
You bring deep knowledge of capital markets operations and hands-on experience delivering change across the trade lifecycle-from front office through to post-trade functions. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders, and leading high-performing teams.
Required Experience:
- Significant experience in Capital Markets operations (e.g., Client Onboarding, Reconciliations, Settlements, Collateral, or Front Office support) - Prior consulting or internal change experience within a major financial institution - Strong knowledge of the project delivery life-cycle and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) - Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams or small teams on high-profile initiatives - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to senior governance forums
Expertise Across One or More of the Following Areas:
Digital & Process Transformation:
- Cost model and business case development
- Experience with process optimisation and automation (e.g. Lean, process mining)
- Familiarity with tools like Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Celonis
- Understanding of emerging tech such as GenAI, workflow tools, and analytics
Risk & Regulatory Change:
- Strong understanding of the UK and EU regulatory environment
- Exposure to non-financial risk frameworks (operational, conduct, controls)
- Experience working on major regulatory programmes (e.g. MIFID, EMIR Refit, T+1, FRTB)
Technology Delivery:
- Understanding of capital markets tech architecture (pre-trade, risk, post-trade systems)
- Project management experience across tech implementation and system integration
- Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with industry-standard tools
- Experience in Test Management or Event/Release Management is a plus
