Summary

An experienced M&A Programme Director is required to lead and coordinate post-acquisition integration across multiple entities. This is a strategic and hands-on contract role, working closely with the CFO and CEO to drive value capture.

  • Lead and manage end-to-end post-acquisition integration programmes across multiple business units.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations to align workstreams and deliver a unified integration strategy.
  • Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and risk management processes to ensure smooth transition.
  • Oversee Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs), with particular focus on IT, infrastructure, and operational dependencies.
  • Support due diligence activities and ensure effective handover into business-as-usual operations.
  • Balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on delivery to ensure milestones and value creation targets are met.

Our client is embarking on a major growth initiative, acquiring multiple businesses into their parent company over the coming months. We are seeking an experienced M&A Programme Director to lead and coordinate post-acquisition integration across multiple entities.

This is a strategic and hands-on role, working closely with the CFO and CEO to drive value capture, align cross-functional teams, and ensure business continuity during complex transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end post-acquisition integration programmes across multiple business units.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations to align workstreams and deliver a unified integration strategy.
  • Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and risk management processes to ensure smooth transition.

  • Proven experience delivering M&A integration programmes in complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership without direct line authority.
  • Expertise in establishing governance, integration roadmaps, and operational frameworks for acquired entities.
  • Experience in driving post-merger synergies, process optimisation, and organisational change.
  • Familiarity with TSAs and transitional risk management across IT and operational domains.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
