Summary
Oliver James are seeking an Insights Lead for a global insurance firm in Manchester. This role involves influencing decisions within the Risk, Compliance, and Legal team, reporting to the CRO and working with stakeholders to implement risk outputs. Key responsibilities include providing support, building relationships, and writing reports. The role requires insurance experience, risk and compliance expertise, and knowledge of FCA and PRA regulations.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Report into the CRO and wider teams including the Change Lead.
- To add value with a key focus on risk.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to the business.
- Working closely with the board to implement risk outputs and business planning.
- Establish excellent relationships with stakeholders.
- Write and approve board papers and executive summaries.
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills
- Recent and strong experience within insurance is essential.
- 1st and 2nd line risk and compliance expertise.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the FCA, PRA UK regulations.
- Must be able to speak confidently to clients and take initiative.
- Data driven mindset.
- Ability to lead on imitative and influence decision making, with a proven track record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
