Summary

An experienced HR Project Manager is needed for a leading UK challenger bank undergoing a major operational transformation. This 6-month contract with potential extension involves leading people and process change initiatives, supporting Target Operating Model (TOM) design, managing organisational restructures, and ensuring projects meet expectations. The role is based in London or Manchester, with a rate up to £500 per day.

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within Financial Services or Banking.
  • Track record delivering people and process change programmes.
  • Strong experience in HR transformation, including redundancy and organisational change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-profile, fast-paced transformation environment and hit the ground running.

Overview: We are partnering with a leading UK challenger bank undergoing a major operational transformation under its new COO. This programme is focused on improving delivery, restructuring teams, and driving significant people and process change across the organisation.

We are seeking an experienced HR-Focused Project Manager – with a background in HR change and restructuring to join the transformation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver large-scale people and process change initiatives.
  • Support Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation.
  • Manage organisational restructures, capability reviews, and HR change projects.
  • Provide recommendations to senior stakeholders and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within Financial Services or Banking.
  • Track record delivering people and process change programmes.
  • Strong experience in HR transformation, including redundancy and organisational change.

Additional Information:
