FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

Responsible for supporting the Business Development team in maintaining long term relationships with all customers and maximising sales opportunities with them.

  • To work as part of a team to maximise relationships with current and new customers.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by the Customer and support other team members.
  • Support the team in generating new sales with all customers.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress to internal & external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Support Business Development in the commercial aspects of the customer programmes.
  • Liaise with project management personnel to ensure invoices are raised in line with completed project milestones.
  • Attend customer meetings and visits at all levels regularly.
  • Work closely with the Cost Estimation team to agree a common and consistent approach.
  • Prepare customer quotations.
  • To work and support other team members as required ensuring an effective and efficient service is developed and delivered.
  • Provide absence cover for the Business Development Administrator.

A degree or equivalent qualification in a technically based subject

An interest in sales/business development with some relevant experience

Computer literate in Microsoft office programmes including Navision would be ideal

Excellent Numeracy skills

Ability to work in a team

Strong Analytical Skills

Excellent IT skills

Good communication skills

High attention to detail

Clear and confident communicator and presenter

Black Cat Recruitment are currently working in partnership with the CK Quality Group in Coventry on a large recruitment campaign for Europe’s leading automotive lighting manufacturer for the prestige & super-car market. 

Due to significant new investment in personnel, processes and plant throughout 2020, there are opportunities for an experienced, driven and committed Business Administrator to join their Business Development Team on a Permanent contract.

Main purpose:
