What you will be doing

Building deep learning algorithms for 3D content classification, retrieval, generation, and captioning.

Analysing the performance and efficiency of existing approaches and designing new methods to improve the state-of-the-art.

Encouraged to question experiment results, especially when the outcome is unexpected.

Gaining a deep understanding of the problem area and becoming a resource for other team members.

Participating in hiring and mentoring to shape the growing team.

Keeping up-to-date with the computer vision and machine learning literature.

Working closely with our engineers to bring prototypes into production.

While we do not currently publish our work, you may be encouraged to do so when the need arises and attend relevant conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, etc)

Skills and qualifications

- A Master's degree in machine learning, computer vision, graphics, or other relevant areas is required. Having completed a Ph.D. in one of these areas is ideal but not required.

- Fluency in Python and at least one deep learning framework is essential for this role.

- Demonstrated research experience in academia or industry showcases your ability to drive innovation and solve complex problems.

- Strong communication skills are crucial as you'll be sharing your progress and insights with the team, using various tools to ensure effective collaboration.

- Knowledge of 3D modelling, point clouds, and related technologies is a plus, but not mandatory.

- Experience with AWS is a bonus.
