Role Overview

As the Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Python and SQL engineers, ensuring the seamless migration and deployment of critical data products. You will play a key role in technical planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management, driving efficiency and innovation within a secure AWS-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of secure microservices in a cloud-based environment.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of data products, ensuring they meet high security and performance standards.
• Implement and enforce best practices for Python, SQL, AWS, and Kubernetes development.
• Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions with the team.
• Manage technical dependencies with external suppliers and infrastructure teams.

Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor and motivate junior team members, fostering a high-velocity delivery mindset.
• Guide and coach engineers to resolve blockers independently.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Stakeholder & Project Management

• Work closely with senior stakeholders and customers to align development efforts with business objectives.
• Ensure timely delivery of mission-critical transformation projects.
• Communicate technical strategies and progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Senior Developer with expertise
• Python, SQL, AWS, and Kubernetes
• Secure data product development
• Microservices architecture design and implementation
• Strong experience in delivering data products within secure environments.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing development teams.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching engineers to foster professional growth.
• Ability to manage dependencies across teams and external suppliers.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
