FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

FoundOcean is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee its Stores Department, responsible for managing, evaluating, and reporting on all stores activities. The ideal candidate will understand business needs and handle machinery and equipment. Key responsibilities include procurement, liaison with departments, supervision of staff, and ensuring maintenance and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement and sourcing of stock and all related documentation & ERP accounting action.
  • Liaison with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
  • Supervise store staff and ensure security and storage of stock.
  • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining records, inventory, bills, and other documentation.
  • Supervisory responsibility over the store staff.

Core Requirements

  • Have prior experience handling stock.
  • Preferably have a Forklift license (If required, training will be provided).
  • Have a good business acumen and the willingness to learn new practices and techniques.
  • Be organized, logical and methodical alongside being a strong team player.

FoundOcean is growing its team to deliver their services as the world’s largest dedicated offshore foundation grouting company with a primary focus on offshore wind turbine foundations. They are presently looking for a Store Supervisor to ensure smooth and efficient running of their Stores Department.

As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for all the stores activities including but not limited to managing, evaluating, and reporting on all store’s activity. The ideal candidate would be able to understand the needs of the business and handle machinery and equipment for on and offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and sourcing of stock and all related documentation & ERP accounting action.
  • Liaison with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
  • Supervise store staff and ensure security and storage of stock.
  • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining records, inventory, bills, and other documentation.
  • Supervisory responsibility over the store staff.

Knowledge and Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will be anyone presently in a stores or warehouse role with preferable some experience in the offshore wind sector (although not essential). You will also:

  • Have prior experience handling stock.
  • Preferably have a Forklift license (If required, training will be provided).
  • Have a good business acumen and the willingness to learn new practices and techniques.
  • Be organized, logical and methodical alongside being a strong team player.

The role will be based in the Livingston Office.
