Summary
Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting for a Part Time Catering Assistant for Greenwich Gardens in Derby. The role includes preparing meals, working with customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe environment. Candidates should have relevant experience and good customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards
- Working with customers, families, advocates, and staff to ensure a high standard of services
- Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, communal areas, and customers’ flats
- Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment
- Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes
Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general catering duties is desirable
- Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment
- Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willing to work towards
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- A general understanding of health and safety in the work place
