Summary

The role involves mechanical engineering, 3D design, assembly, and working with automated systems, with a focus on designing and supervising the build of assembly and test systems. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, mechatronic experience, and proficiency in SolidWorks.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical Engineering and prototyping, 3D design and Drafting.
- Test and Assembly.
- Working within our Engineering teams to ensure a high-quality system suited to each customer’s needs.
- Supporting Customer Service and Sales activities.
Core Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering subject preferred.
- Must have mechatronic experience.
- Must have SolidWorks detail designing experience.
- Required to design and then supervise the build of Assembly and Test Systems.
- Understanding of principles of Design Transfer and working to ISO9001.
What you’ll do
- Mechanical Engineering and prototyping, 3D design and Drafting.
- Test and Assembly.
- Will sometimes include robotics, conveyors, fixtures and other sophisticated technology modules.
- Working within our Engineering teams to ensure a high-quality system suited to each customer’s needs.
- Supporting Customer Service and Sales activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering subject preferred.
- Must have mechatronic experience.
- Must have SolidWorks detail designing experience.
- Required to design and then supervise the build of Assembly and Test Systems.
- Experience of Special Purpose Machines would be helpful.
- Understanding of principles of Design Transfer and working to ISO9001.
