Summary
Lovehoney Group is seeking an Automation Engineer to drive high-level quality assurance across their e-commerce platform. The role involves designing and scaling a test automation framework using Playwright (Python), collaborating with Agile teams, and utilizing CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have experience in Playwright, Python, API testing, and working in an e-commerce environment.
- Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright (Python).
- Develop a scalable suite of automated test cases for core e-commerce user journeys.
- Embed automation in CI/CD pipelines for secure, efficient deployments.
- Support cross-browser and mobile testing via tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and contribute to test strategy across APIs, UIs, and integrated systems.
The ideal candidate should bring 3+ years of hands-on automation experience using Playwright within Python, experience in the e-commerce domain, experience in API testing (Postman, RESTful services) and Agile environments (SCRUM/Kanban), and familiarity with containerized testing using Docker and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

What you should bring
- 3+ years of hands-on automation experience using Playwright within Python. - 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the e-commerce domain. - At least 2 years of experience working on any ERP platform - Experience in API testing (Postman, RESTful services) and Agile environments (SCRUM/Kanban). - Familiarity with containerized testing using Docker and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. - Exposure to AI-based testing tools (e.g., Mabl, Testim, Functionize) is a plus. - A strategic, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
