FULL DESCRIPTION
Summary
A warehouse operative position at Dr. Oetker, focusing on palletizing and dispatch duties. Responsibilities include warehouse operations, palletizing operations, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
- Despatch order checking against warehouse SAP documentation and accuracy in completion of all warehouse paperwork
- Picking and Put away - allocation and distribution of Finish Goods
- Safe operation of the Warehouse pallet movement systems
- Daily Set up of machines to start the production cycle
- Feeding materials / pallets to semi-automated machines

- The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Highly motivated, proactive and innovative
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Previous experience of working with machinery and/or technically minded
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations
- Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
- Despatch order checking against warehouse SAP documentation and accuracy in completion of all warehouse paperwork
- Picking and Put away - allocation and distribution of Finish Goods
- Safe operation of the Warehouse pallet movement systems
- Reach, Counterbalance FLT and Powered Pallet Truck experience (desirable but full training will be given)
Palletising Operations
- Daily Set up of machines to start the production cycle
- Feeding materials / pallets to semi-automated machines
- Responsible for housekeeping within their area (clean as you go)
- Good understanding of food safety culture
- Ability to work in a physical, chilled environment with activities to include bending, lifting and basic manual handling

- Opportunities for overtime at 1.5x hourly rate or 2x hourly rate on Sundays
- Weekly paid, 37.5 contractual hours per week on rotating weeks of am/pm shifts, Monday to Friday 05:35-14:05 and 13:45 to 22:15.
