Summary

Ann’s Home Care is seeking Care Assistants to join their community team in Larne. The role involves assisting and enabling clients, providing personal care, administering medication, providing companionship and care, and contributing to record keeping. A full driving license and access to a car are essential.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assisting and enabling
  • Washing and dressing
  • Taking food and refreshment
  • Mobility
  • Bed making
  • Providing interest and activities to stimulate and engage the client
  • Companionship and care
  • Administering medication
  • Contributing to record keeping

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Have 2 suitable references
  • Be caring and friendly
  • Have a valid driving licence and vehicle
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have a good standard of verbal and written English (or be prepared to further their English skills)
