Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Undertake servicing and repairs on commercial trailers and tail-lifts in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Delivering high quality workmanship with attention to detail.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and adhering to company Health and Safety policies.
  • Achieving and maintaining proficiency in all aspects of body building and servicing as per company procedures.

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Mechanically minded and proficient in hands-on working.
  • Ability to complete work within required deadlines and allocated hours.
  • Possess the basic knowledge of the principles of Health & Safety within a working environment.
  • Prepared to work flexible hours when required.
  • Willing to learn different skills and undertake training as required.
  • Have a driving license.

  • City & Guilds Craft Certificate / completed NVQ 3 in Engineering.
  • Manufacturer certificate to service commercial vehicle / trailer suspensions.
  • Knowledge of commercial trailers / tail-lifts.
