FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

We are currently recruiting for the position of a Vehicle Communication Analyst to join our Coventry team of engineers. You would be participating in an ongoing project within automotive industry. Main aspect of the job involves creating Feature Lists for future vehicle lines as well as Diagnostics design and testing. You would also be involved in ECU and system level testing of prototype future vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Software Download activities
  • Preparing harness and connectors for test circuits on Lab Cars
  • Test Automation and Improvement of existing test cases
  • Supporting HIL (hardware in the loop) development of a diagnostics test system
  • Visiting automotive engineering sites to support test activities
  • Creating and running test automation scripts
  • Creating CAPL scripts for test automation and diagnostics purposes
  • Generating and maintaining Feature Lists

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

  • University Degree in Informatics, Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering
  • knowledge of automotive industry standards of ECU software download tools
  • experience in Vehicle Networks and Diagnostics is essential
  • knowledge of CANalyser and CANoe software is essential
  • knowledge of Feature capturing and maintenance methods
  • ability to analyse, interpret and communicate test results is essential
  • strong interest in self-learning and motivation is essential
