HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist – Ampthill & Flitwick

Are you a HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist looking to start or to progress your Private Practice career with a new and exciting opportunity, in an established, friendly and supportive clinic?

You will be based at our highly-regarded practice in the historic town centre of Flitwick, with its local shops, cafes, and station; excellent train and road links to London and surrounded by the beautiful market towns, villages and countryside of Bedfordshire.

We will help you to grow, develop and become the best physio you can be. Supported by our local clinical leads and Group Clinical Directors, you will have the opportunity to identify and achieve your own personal development goals, participating in individually-tailored mentorship and training and regular team CPD sessions, to underpin your chosen career pathway.

You’ll be a dynamic, self-motivated and personable professional, with an enquiring mind, excellent communication skills, and a passion both for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and going the extra mile to help patients to achieve their maximum potential.

Clinically, you’ll enjoy a varied caseload, treating self-paying and insured patients with a mix of injuries and msk conditions or requiring pre or post-operative treatment and rehabilitation. You’ll work with motivated patients and undertake minimal accident or injury claim work. You’ll utilise a full range of ‘hands-on’ and rehabilitation skills, engaging and inspiring your patients as they progress along their journey from pain and disability to achieving or exceeding their goals.

Our clinic, like all those in the [Employer hidden] Group, is focussed on delivering high-quality care and service excellence, building and nurturing life-long, family group relations, built upon confidence, trust, professionalism and community values.

We’ll support you to build excellent relationships with Consultants, GPs and other health, care and fitness professionals. We’ll also support your enthusiasm for learning, with opportunities to develop your manual therapy or rehabilitation skills; injury prevention; acupuncture; electrical stimulation (NMES) and brace fitting? We’ll also help you to hone your private practice skills with confidence, including patient and caseload management; electronic notes and reports; navigating private referrals and insurers, discussing service or product sales and recommendations.

Ampthill and Flitwick are excellently located, with Centreparcs, Woburn Abbey and Woburn Safari Park all on the doorstep, Luton and the market town of Bedford only 10miles away and Milton Keynes, home of ‘Centre MK’ shopping, Xscape centre; Snozone real snow ski-snowboard; MK Dons stadium and Willen water sports Lake only 15miles away.

With an excellent local reputation, built over many years and with the support and opportunities provided by the whole Group, we can provide you an enjoyable, challenging and inspiring career and a development pathway that is rarely available in private practice.

This role lends itself to either self-employment or employment (depending on circumstances) with a competitive remuneration and benefits package including pension, paid holiday, sick pay etc.

Please contact James Avery, Commercial/Clinical Director for a no obligation conversation, or a chat over a coffee. We’d love to have you join our team!
