Summary

The role involves designing and delivering electrical systems across various projects within sectors like renewables, nuclear, defence, and utilities. The engineer will lead the design and specification of LV and HV systems and manage projects from concept to commissioning.
- Leading the design and specification of LV and HV systems
- Developing protection and control schemes, schematics, and cable calculations
- Managing delivery from concept through commissioning, including client and contractor coordination
- Reviewing technical work and mentoring junior engineers
- Ensuring compliance with BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, CDM, and project-specific standards
- Supporting power system studies (load flow, fault level, protection coordination) where required
The ideal candidate will have a degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years’ experience in regulated or safety-critical sectors, strong grounding in electrical engineering design and delivery, and familiarity with software like AutoCAD, Amtech, or ETAP.

What You’ll Do:
- Leading the design and specification of LV and HV systems

What We’re Looking For:
