Summary

Senior .NET developer with microservices, Azure , DevOps experience. This role involves developing C# .NET solutions, creating in-house applications, debugging and maintaining code, managing code in Azure DevOps, reporting issues, identifying and handling risks, working in a project team, providing support, and reporting project statuses, alongside participation in project meetings.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese language.

The role will include but is not limited to:

  • Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.
  • Creating in-house applications using the .NET framework.

  • Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.
  • Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
  • Working in a project team alongside other developers.
  • Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.
  • Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.
  • Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.

Essential and Desirable Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or information technology.
  • C#, .NET 3.5 (or higher), and Microsoft Visual Studio certification and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.
  • Knowledge of other coding-languages (PHP, C+, Java, etc).
  • Experience of using ADO code repository
  • Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese language.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
  • Experience with working in an agile environment.
  • Experience with working in a trading environment, preferably physical commodities

· Trade lifecycle & risk management · AWS infrastructure and services

Nice to Have Experience

· Experience with EU or Asia Pacific power markets · Global gas and power markets
