Summary

As a Lead Repair Engineer, you will read and interpret drawings of complex engine parts. You will produce clear graphics to provide the necessary information. Key Responsibilities involve substantiation of repairs to meet regulatory requirements, understanding airworthiness and flight safety requirements, and knowledge of engine hardware materials. The role requires willingness to work flexible schedules to interact with customers in different time zones. Essential skills include a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering, understanding aircraft engine construction, repair processes, and experience in an MRO shop.

  • Experience in substantiation of repairs depending on the various factors to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Aware of airworthiness regulatory and flight safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of the various alloys and materials used in the manufacture of different engine hardware.
  • Willingness to work in flexible schedules depending on the need to interact with customers in different time zones.
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.
  • Good understanding on the construction and working of aircraft engines, various parts of the engine and their functions.
  • Good knowledge of the various types of repair processes involved in the restoration of variety of damaged commonly observed on Aero engine components.

The Role

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  •         Bachelors/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.
  •         Good understanding on the construction and working of aircraft engines, various parts of the engine and their functions.
  •         Good knowledge of the various types of repair processes involved in the restoration of variety of damaged commonly observed on Aero engine components.
  •         Knowledge on how to sequence various operations during different repair processes.
  •         Experience in a commercial/military aircraft engine MRO shop or in a company that does repair development engineering work on aircraft engine parts.
  •         Able to make engineering judgements based on the limited data available.
