FULL DESCRIPTION

Summary

IO Interactive is seeking a talented individual to join our team in a role that will support all of our studios and projects. As we continue to develop these projects, we are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our Operations Excellence team. In this role, you will report directly to our Head of Operations Excellence and lead initiatives that drive organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and address challenges, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement within the organization, working closely with various teams and departments involved in game development.
  • Lead process analyses and redesigns, ensuring our operations and systems are optimized for maximum efficiency. You will involve key stakeholders closely, empowering your colleagues and improving IOI’s ability to navigate the complexities of the gaming industry.
  • Drive implementations and change management for new initiatives, ensuring that solutions go beyond mere PowerPoint presentations and instead become integral, value-adding parts of our workflows.
  • Provide continuous support for implemented solutions, occasionally managing certain processes until they can be effectively handed over to the teams responsible for them.
  • Your role will cover a diverse range of workflows, adapting as the organization’s needs evolve. This includes—but is not limited to—Expense Management, Resource Forecasting, Facility Operations, Procurement, Business Intelligence workflows, Finance Operations, and the workflows within individual project disciplines.

Core Requirements:

  • A professional Operations Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in fast-paced international business, preferably within video games, technology, or another development focused domain.
  • You have a solid understanding of business operations and holistic business engineering, with experience in collaborating with varying stakeholders across departments and disciplines and driving new implementations.
  • You possess proficient IT skills, mainly related to configuring third-party systems to match workflow needs and build efficiency. Ideally you are also an absolute machine when it comes to working with Excel.
  • You have strong change management skills, as well as excellent presentation and communication skills.
