[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Global Corporation is seeking several Delivery Driver/Fulfillment Associates to ensure proper handling, processing, and or last tactical mile pickup/delivery of sensitive DoD or commercial cargo shipment in CONUS or OCONUS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper handling, processing, and delivery of sensitive cargo.
  • Conduct positive advance shipment planning.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries.
  • Proper use and maintenance of delivery equipment.

  • Ability to drive a manual transmission FORD Transit 3.5t Luton Box Truck.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Valid U.S. Passport.

Description

[Employer hidden] Global Corporation is seeking several *Delivery Driver/Fulfillment Associates* in our Specialized Transportation Srvices (STS) division to ensure proper handling, processing, and or last tactical mile pickup/delivery of sensitive DoD or commercial cargo shipment in CONUS or OCONUS. *DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* - The shipper is required to do certain things such as conduct positive advance shipment planning that includes liaison with the points of contact (POC) representing the consignor, consignee, and the transportation service provider (TSP’s) dispatcher to ensure the safe, secure, and cost-effective transport of any security risk code SRC I, SRC II, and or Nuclear Weapons Related Material (NWRM) materials. - The consigner is required to review and comply with the destination consignee’s Transportation Facilities Guide (TFG) special instructions to proper routing and delivery restriction considerations, including delivery hours and secure holding capabilities. - [Employer hidden] Fulfillment Associates task orders may require multiple deliveries per day. - Will be required to keep accurate records of deliveries and customer authorizations and ensure that all documentation is submitted to the customer on time. - Will be tasked with Proper use and maintenance of delivery equipment, including handheld scanner (when required). - May be required to lift heavy products or parcels. - Drives safely and follows all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. - Will be tasked with keeping the company and or rental vehicle clean and ensuring that vehicles are well-maintained, fueled, oiled, and is ready to drive. - Will be required to communicate with origin and or destination customers by phone to update them on the time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated pickup and or delivery dates. - Must be able to follow pre-planned routes accurately without deviation from set course or transportation facilities guide (TFG). - Must maintain communication with [Employer hidden] STS management to be informed of any customer requested changes to original delivery, route, or last tactical mile schedule. - Must inform management immediately of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time

Position Requirements

*MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:* - U.S. Citizen, over 25 years of age and phyically fit for the role - Ability to drive a manual transmision FORD Transit 3.5t Luton Box Truck with Tail Lift or equivalent (UK variant, opposite side of the road) - Valid U.S. Driver's License that is at least a year old and has at least a year left. - Valid U.S. Passport with at least 3 months' time left, and no VISA exemptions within the last 6 months - Previous Driving Experience - Good communication skills - No driving disqualifications with the last three (3) years - Attention to details - Ability to handle fragile packages and parcels with care. - Ability to work under pressume and work in a team environment - Ability to drive long distances and sit for long periods of time - Hard working, reliable, flexible and a good work ethic
