ORGANIST & CHOIR LEADER

St James’ church is seeking to appoint an Organist and Choir Leader to play at our 10.30am Sunday morning services and on special feast days. Choir practises currently take place on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month at 9.30am.

We have a well-established RSCM affiliated choir with a growing junior section. The church has a two-manual Walker organ and Kawai electronic piano.

We are looking for someone who can train, nurture and develop our choir and help grow confidence in music making among our congregation.

Service fee of £50 - £90 with an additional fee paid for choir practises, depending on experience and agreed Job Description.

Sessional fees paid for weddings and funerals.
