Summary
Allam Power is seeking a Production Scheduler to join their team in Melton, East Yorkshire. This role involves ensuring efficient assembly of diesel generating sets, maintaining quality standards, maximizing efficiencies, and planning production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production & material scheduling
- Support Production Lead with process development
- Preparation of documentation for build
- Issuing work order packs for production
- Monitor build times and efficiencies
- Report on key metrics to Production Lead
- Quality Control
- H&S permits admin on minor works
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation
- Provide cover for key duties of Production Lead
- Liaise with other departments including procurement and engineering
Core Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production scheduling / production assistant role
- Demonstrable knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Full driving licence
- Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) – including maths and english

Essential:
- Proven experience in a production scheduling / production assistant role- Demonstrable knowledge of health and safety legislation- Full driving licenceExcellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications- High levels of written and verbal communication skills- A minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) – including maths and english
Desirable:
- Knowledge of production and accounts software packages (Eg. Sage / CIM50)- Health and Safety qualifications (IOSH / NEBOSH)- Production qualifications- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practicesKnowledge- Experience of working to ISO9001 quality standards
