Summary

Sernova Financial is seeking a Junior Cloud Administrator in London, UK, responsible for application support, desktop and laptop support, troubleshooting Office 365, VOIP, and mobile device support. The role involves system patching, documentation, monitoring, issue resolution, and suggesting improvements.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Application support for in-house applications, Office 365 and Cloud Platforms
  • Desktop and Laptop support (ordering, installation, supporting, account setup)
  • Troubleshooting Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word
  • VOIP and phone system support (Microsoft Teams)
  • Mobile device support (Microsoft Intune)
  • Testing system patches and upgrades
  • Documenting support processes
  • Creating how-to guides and WIKI pages
  • Monitoring desktop systems and security
  • Logging issues and following through to resolution
  • Suggesting solutions to Technology team that will simplify the support process
  • Investigating and resolving issues safely and in a timely manner

Core Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

  • Strong background in Computer Science, Coding and/or Electronics
  • Strong background or interest in IT Infrastructure, Networking and Security
  • Proven knowledge of application support and/or IT systems support
  • Presents examples of applied creative thinking, innovation and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work and communicate with IT professionals and end users at all seniority levels
  • Able to communication with the business to understand requirements and present solutions clearly and concisely
  • Self-starter who will drive resolutions and improvements rather than just follow instructions and maintain the existing status quo
  • Able to take a complex issue, identify the causes and prioritise the work necessary
  • Driven to achieve fast results and provide solutions
