Summary

As a Senior Support Worker, you will act as a senior operational practitioner, guiding and supporting teams across the area. You will manage complex caseloads, support failing services, and ensure high standards of practice, quality, performance, and compliance.

Your Role:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will act as a senior operational practitioner, guiding and supporting teams across the area. You will manage complex caseloads, support failing services, and ensure high standards of practice, quality, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Provide direct input and support on practice, performance, or quality matters across services.
  • Service Improvement: Coordinate and deliver service improvement plans in collaboration with the Quality team and Service Leads. Support the coordination of service audits.
  • Safeguarding Lead: Advise teams on effective management of incidents, practice, and reporting. Liaise with external agencies such as Local Authorities, Social Services, and Children’s teams.
  • Performance Targets: Actively contribute to meeting team performance targets and take accountability for those within your sphere of responsibility, such as voids, arrears, and outcome achievement.
  • Learning & Development: Commit to ongoing learning and development, designing actions through appraisal and supervision processes to improve practice and support skills.
  • Professional Role Model: Display professional behaviours consistent with company values and serve as a positive role model.
