Summary

As a Support Worker, you'll be at the forefront of this transformation, working in our vibrant 12-bed unit. Your role will be varied and impactful, including: Empowering Young People - Provide face-to-face support, life coaching, and develop meaningful activity programmes tailored to each individual’s needs. Building Independence - Help young people develop the skills they need for independent living, from managing finances to cooking and cleaning. Community Engagement - Foster strong relationships with the local community, ensuring our young people feel connected and supported. Trauma-Informed Support - Offer emotional and psychological support, understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of each young person. Life Strategies - Guide young people in making future life choices, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Provide face-to-face support, life coaching, and develop meaningful activity programmes tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Help young people develop the skills they need for independent living, from managing finances to cooking and cleaning.
  • Foster strong relationships with the local community, ensuring our young people feel connected and supported.

  • Monitor and maximize rent collection, taking proactive steps to address any arrears in line with our policies.
  • Respond promptly and responsibly to any safeguarding matters, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young residents.
